The part of the whole book which I particularly liked was the explanation on the benefits of fruits and vegetables before listing the smoothies recipe.That way, I will know which fruits/vegetables to incorporate in making my smoothies besides the healthy recipes listed in this book.I also liked the mini smoothies like the banana and strawberry smoothie surprise and vitamin boost as well as the tips in choosing good probiotics, which i was keen to know.In my opinion, this book is helpful.
I think this is the easiest way to get a slimmer body wherein you don't need to work out as hard at a gym or spend too much time doing hard exercises. All you need to do is follow a weight loss smoothie plan which is what this book is all about. It gives clear and concise info and instructions on how to implement this kind of diet, now all you have to do is religiously follow to get the desired result. A must-add to your library!
I have a hard time getting in the right amount of fruits and vegetables on a daily basis. That is why I began making smoothies. I find it much easier to just drink fruit and veggies than to sit there and eat them. I only knew a couple recipes I made up myself but I wanted to expand my horizons. That is why I purchased this book. It is labeled for weight loss, but I just added them to my normal routine in order to get some more fruits and veggies in. I love the recipes so far and I'm excited to try even more. Great book.
I have several of this author's books on weight loss, dieting and exercise and my motto is if it ain't broke don't fix it! Linda Westwood has advice for staying healthy and losing weight that works! I am really able to see results by following her plan. I used to use pills to cleanse, but now I drink these slimming smoothies that are so easy to make. I just love that I can already see results after only a few days!
I wish I could give this book more then 5 stars. This book goes into so much detail why this will work, what the benefits are, how to make certain ingredients instead of buying them at the store filled with other crap. Plus, this book gives you smoothie recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and mini meals for snacks! I have never seen anything so complete as this book was in exactly what to eat and why and when! I loved it! Highly recommend this book!!!!!
I have been using the recipes in this book for only a short time. I have not been on the smoothies every day but find they do work when doing them as described in the instructions. I did however find what I think is a type-O, It is in the antioxidant recipe. I followed it to a T and used 1Tablespoon of turmeric. It was so bad I took only a few sips and threw the rest away. So far I must say the other lunch recipes have been great. I haven't tried the breakfast or dinner ones yet. I have a family to feed which they are not into smoothies, they want foooooood. I do this for myself when they are at work or school. With summer coming and all the frozen fruits these smoothies have in them they will be a God send. Enjoy.
I've read a lot of diet books that offer a lot of great deal of weight lost some are effective but some are just promising. Now I'd like to try this detox book that uses smoothies as one of the medium in cleansing our body. Rather than the usual diet smoothie recipe this read have everything prepared for you with its variety of recipe that can be done throughout the day from breakfast to dinner it even comes with snack smoothies, aside from that it even highlighted smoothies that can be good or useful whenever you have an illness such as colds or flu. Along with the variety of recipes compiled on this book I appreciate how Westwood gave pointers on having a mental mindset on weight loss as true enough one goal cant be achieved without the proper determination to do so. I can say that this is a comprehensive book on weight loss, it didn't only focus on smoothies recipe but with overall aspect of how to lose weight effectively from having a mindset, to cleansing your inner organs and body. Though this is a long read every page and information on this book is worth your time. Recommended to anyone who would want to lose the extra those extra pounds you gained during the holiday season.
